Yuasa in Europe In the early 1980s Yuasa established a Company in the UK to distribute their range of industrial batteries. A manufacturing plant was set up in Wales which today supplies batteries to the whole of Europe, having won the Queen’s Award for Export on two occasions and achieving registration to ISO9002 and ISO14001. With Distribution, Customer Services and Administration now based at the Ebbw Vale site, this operation is a major contributor to the Yuasa policy to provide World Class products from a World Wide Company.
